Hand Carved Old Salt / Man of the Sea 8" x 2"

Hand Carved Old Salt or Man of the Sea  figure is hand carved from bass wood grown in Maine. The seaman has short white/gray beard.  He is wearing the traditional yellow slicker suit and a so 'wester hat also hand painted yellow  His shirt is blue.  The figurine measures approx. 8" x 2".  He was seen on Fox 22 Bangor.  

Each hand carved figurine is uniquely created just for you.  Although they are created with the same idea in mind, no two are  exactly the same, each carving takes on it own personality making it a true "one of a kind" piece of art.
