Hand Carved Santa Claus with a curly beard is a large Christmas ornament measuring 8" x 3" He has multiple carved  gray and white curls in is beard, mustache and hair .  The red hat is trimmed with a a white band and pompom.  His bright blue eyes "twinkle."   The back of the ornament is flat, not carved or painted. 

The ornament is carved from basswood grown in Maine.  Each hand carved ornaments is uniquely created just for you.  Although they are created with the same idea in mind, no two are  exactly the same, each carving takes on it own personality making it a true "one of a kind" piece of art.  Hanging ornaments are perfect for your Christmas displaces - trees, garlands, tiered tray , ornament tree, wreaths or in a grouping on a small table or mantle.
